The CompTIA A+ 220-902 is a basic course which helps participants to secure their credential in domain of IT support and troubleshooting. The CompTIA A+ 220-902 consists of maximum 90 questions and is made up of performance-based as well as multiple-choice questions. The time limit is 90 minutes for this exam and the passing score is 700 on a scale of 900.
What is the cost for CompTIA A+ 220-902 certification exam?
The CompTIA A+ certification exam costs about US$219 (subject to change) each for CompTIA A+ 220-901 and CompTIA A+ 220-902. Participants need to pass both these exams in order to earn their CompTIA A+ certification.
Is it possible to mix different series of CompTIA A+ 220-902 certification exam?
No. As the course keeps updating every three years, participants should note that they cannot mix exams from two different series. At the time of this writing, since the new series became effective on January 15, 2019 and the old series is retiring on July 31, 2019, it should be noted that if participants have given one of the two exams before July 31, 2019, then the other exam should also be given before July 31, 2019, i.e. before the retiring date of the old series.
